Lupin Concentrate



FRALU-CON has been developed to obtain a Lupin product with a higher protein level.
FRALU-CON is a Lupin Concentrate with a protein content of 60 %. 
FRALU-CON is a GMO-free product with the following characteristics:

High in protein:  60 % ± 3%, on dry basis
Good emulsification property
High water and oil binding capacity
Contains all essential amino acids which are good digestible
The functionality of the proteins can be compared with Casein
High in vitamin A and vitamin E level and therefore is a good antioxidant.
High in minerals especially calcium, magnesium and phosphorous
Contains no gluten, lactose, cholesterol or trypsin inhibitors.
Influences in a positive way the water activity in baked goods.


FRALU-CON can be used in:
Baked goods to enlarge the shelf-life, to improve the emulsification property and to substitute egg and milk proteins. It gives a better structure and colouring to the baked goods.
Meat and sausages as a substitute for other plant proteins like Gluten and Soya and partially also to substitute caseins and egg proteins
Vegetarian products as a functional component and binder
Batter mixes to improve binding of the bread crumb
Pasta and noodles to improve the cooking stability, to substitute gluten and to give a more golden, egg like colour
Salad dressings and spreads as a binder and emulsifier

Specification  FRALU®-CON                        

Toasted lupin Concentrate                                      
FRALU-CON is a toasted, sweet Lupin concentrate, to be used in various parts of the food industry where a higher protein-content is needed.
FRALU-CON gives i.e. a higher emulsification property to the dough. Also the higher protein-level gives a better digestibility of the finished product.
On the base of the high protein content (60 %), FRALU-CON can be used as a good
replacement for other vegetable or animal proteins.
FRALU-CON is delivered in 20 kg bags, 36 bags on a euro-size pallet (=720kg).
FRALU-CON has a shelf-life of 12 months after production date if stored in cool and dry condition.
FRALU-CON is made from L-Angusuifolius beans, which are not GM pulses.
Note: This product can be supplied with a kosher Certificate.
